It’s really best to prepare your skin for the application of topical Vitamin C Serum. Exfoliating can help eliminate dead skin that can block the active ingredients in our Serum. Two to Three times a week is generally enough and using an exfoliating glove (available at most chemists/drugstores) makes it an easy task.

Topical application of Vitamin C is 20 times more effective than oral ingestion so only a little bit of Serum needs to be applied once or twice a day. Generally a small pea size amount should be enough to apply to your face in a thin even coat. Remember the Serum is potent so avoid getting it in your eyes.

Its best to bring Vitamin C Serum into your daily nighttime regime. During the night, when we rest, our skin repairs itself so it’s the perfect time to supercharge it with Vitamin C. After cleaning your skin at night, apply the Serum and then follow with a high quality moisturizer. Before moisturizing make sure that the Serum has had at least a minute or two to absorb into your skin.

20% is the strength of Vitamin C in our Serum. This is generally recognized as the optimum strength to deliver Vitamin C topically to the skin via Serum. The Vitamin C is potent and you should consider gradually ramping up the usage of our Serum from once a day, before bed, to twice a day (again in the morning). Our Hyaluronic Acid accounts for 5% and Amino Acid Complex 4%.

Our Serum comes in a dark brown glass bottle for a reason. This is to stop light penetrating the bottle and (overtime) decreasing its effectiveness. Keeping your Serum in the refrigerator, whilst not necessary, can give you a beautiful revitalizing feeling when its application time. A basic rule of thumb is to keep it in a cool dark place and it will last for its shelf life of two years.
